So has done another music-related meme and I feel compelled to follow suit. It seemed simple enough...

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike through when someone gets them right.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING.

However, I actually had to click Next over 100 times for this meme, since I had to disqualify any track which:
1) was a full DJ mix rather than a single song (is there any MP3 player that can handle gapless playback?),
2) was standup comedy rather than music,
3) had no lyrics (probably half my collection),
4) had lyrics consisting of a single sample which was the song's title (another third),
5) or had lyrics that were incomprehensible or untranscribable.

Anyway, I expect most of these to be either obvious or impenetrable. Do what ya can.
